A Study in the Book of Acts

In his sermon on the Book of Acts, Pastor Joel introduces a new series focused on how believers today can embody and advance the Kingdom of God, just as the early church did. Building on a previous study in Matthew, which explored Jesus’ teachings on the Kingdom, Pastor Joel explains that Acts marks the transition from learning about the Kingdom to actively participating in it.

He emphasizes that the same God, Purpose, Spirit, and power that empowered the first disciples are available to believers today, urging a mindset shift from passive faith to anticipation of God’s transformative work in daily life. This journey involves not only individual spiritual growth but also active engagement in community and humility in prayer, with each believer stepping into their own calling to be a witness to God’s Kingdom.
