Do You Have Ears? Do You Hear?
Joel Mason   -

This week we find ourselves in Matthew 13, where Jesus uses parables to teach about the Kingdom of God amidst opposition from the Pharisees. He explains the purpose of parables as tools to reveal truth to those open to God’s message while concealing it from the resistant. The central parable of the sower illustrates how different hearts receive God’s word: some are hardened to it and reject it; others receive it superficially or are distracted by worldly concerns; a few embrace it deeply and bear fruit.

The message challenges listeners to examine their hearts’ readiness to receive God’s word and produce spiritual fruit. It urges fathers (and by extension, all listeners) to cultivate hearts receptive to God’s truth, allowing it to transform their lives and influence their children positively.
